Optima Max - SirtPro Activator

Optima Max – SirtPro Activator

Our SirtPro Activator is a complex formulation of Quercetin, Fisetin, and Alpha Lipoic Acid. It is a dietary supplement high in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, used to support antisenescence and aid healthy ageing.

Both quercetin and fisetin are flavonoids, well known compounds of plant derivatives that are reported to be therapeutically active phytochemicals against many diseases encompassing malignancies, inflammatory disorders, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disorders, and oxidative stress. Furthermore, research has indicated that these two flavonoids can have a synergistic effect when used in combination to provide superior senolytic benefits through sirtuin activation.

How Does it Work?

In youth, cells naturally eliminate themselves if they become damaged or dysfunctional in a process called apoptosis. With age, however, we accumulate more senescent cells that emit toxic byproducts, causing more cells to become senescent. These dysfunctional cells no longer perform basic functions, instead inflicting localised and systemic damage to our healthy cells, accelerating the ageing process and increasing the risk of age-related diseases.

Sirtuins are a class of enzymes whose activity is dependent on NAD+ as a cofactor. Sirtuins are reported to modulate numerous activities by controlling gene expression, DNA repair, metabolism, oxidative stress response, mitochondrial function, and biogenesis. Deregulation of their expression may lead to tissue-specific degenerative events involved in the development of several human pathologies, including cancer, neurodegeneration, and cardiovascular disease.

Clinical trials demonstrate that sirtuin activating compounds found in naturally derived sources such as quercetin and fisetin could prove beneficial for the prevention and treatment of a plethora of human diseases. Our Optima Max SirtPro Activator used in combination with the Optima Max range maximises SIRT1 and NAD+ benefits for health and longevity.

A simple summary of NAD+

It all starts in our cells. Through a process called cellular respiration, our cells release chemical energy, which in turn fuels our biological processes. NAD+ is a coenzyme which helps break down the molecules in this process. According to research, low levels of NAD+ are at least one factor that causes age-related problems in our bodies. Of course, lifestyle can play a part in your levels of NAD+. Discover yours below.

Founder & CEO

Iain became an advocate of NAD+ through his own personal experiences. Before establishing NADclinic, he co-founded the successful Step 1 Recover rehabilitation centre group and realised that NAD+ could be used to help treat alcohol dependency.
