    Misleading

    I have been taking this for the last month with no affects. I have researched NAD further and found that taking NAD + tablets does not actually increase NAD levels in the body as the NAD in the tablets gets broken down by the digestive system. The best way to increase NAD in the body is to take a precursor NMN or NR supplement which isn’t broken down in the digestive tract in the same way as NAD directly is. These NAD tablets are expensive but basically a scam. Intravenous administration of NAD is the only way it increases NAD levels in the body.

    Oral NAD+ supplementation may still contribute to boosting intracellular NAD+ stores. Recent evidence suggests that certain receptors and transport mechanisms can facilitate absorption of intact NAD+ molecules. Additionally, when NAD+ is metabolized in the gut, it breaks down into precursors such as nicotinamide riboside (NR), which can cross cell membranes and be efficiently converted back into NAD+, thereby supporting cellular levels.
